Debut album, Ride the Wheel,<\/a> released April 2017!\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Buddy System’s debut album features tunes written and collected in their travels.\u00a0 From driving reels to beautiful waltzes, the tunes are creatively arranged and feature Buddy System’s tight duo sound, plus a few extra surprises.<\/p>\n

B<\/span>uddy System<\/span> plays dance music with heart, seemingly bottomless energy, and a deep groove.\u00a0\u00a0Noah VanNorstrand<\/strong> (fiddle, foot percussion) and Julie Vallimont<\/strong> (piano, jawharp) are known for their creativity, big sound, tight arrangements, and connection with the dancers.\u00a0 They use their duo to its full potential: Noah’s fiddle and foot percussion powerhouse drives the band, matched by Julie’s rich, nuanced, versatile piano playing.<\/p>\n

Buddy System has taken the country by storm since Noah and Julie started performing together in 2014. They’ve played for dancers in more than twenty\u00a0states, at some of the biggest dance festivals in the country.\u00a0 \u00a0They also love playing concerts, where they can showcase other parts of their deep repertoire.<\/p>\n
